Our dog, Noodles, goes absolutely crazy when we get the bubbles out. All you have to do is say the word and she starts barking and jumping around. When you start blowing them she runs around chasing them and she jumps up in the air trying to bite them. Today after we were done playing with them I sat the bottle at the top of Marlee's slide. While I was pushing Marlee on the swing Noodles was running up the slide trying to get to the bottle of bubbles. Check out the video so you can see for yourself just how crazy she gets. You'll need to pause the playlist on the sidebar to hear the sound.

Christmas 2008 Slideshow
We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. It is so hard to believe it is over and 2009 is fastly approaching. Here is a slideshow of pics from Christmas Eve when we went to Mimi & Paw Paw's and then Christmas Day at Nani's house. Of course, we were at our own house on Christmas Eve night so that Santa could stop by.

Merry Christmas
Look Who Came to Grammy's House
That's right....Santa made a visit to Grammy's house this past Saturday night. He came while we were having the Ingram Christmas get together. As you can see in the first picture there was something strange about his shoes. You can see tennis shoes underneath his boots. Of course, Marlee scanned him up and down and then proceeded to ask Santa why he had tennis shoes on. It was hilarious.

Christmas in Montgomery
Yesterday we had our first Christmas get together at Gran's house in Montgomery. We had a great time eating lots of yummy food, playing Dance Revolution and all sorts of Wii games (thanks to Jeremy & Paige). Marlee also loved playing outside on the trampoline. It is always great to be able to get together with the family during the holidays. I have always treasured visiting with family and I hope that Marlee will always treasure those special times as well.
Here are some pictures from the day.

Ingram Thanksgiving Get Together
Yesterday we had a late Thanksgiving get together at Daryl & Christy's house for the Ingram side of the family. As you can see from the pics below Marlee had a blast playing with Meagan and all of her dress up stuff. They kept running upstairs to change and then would come back down to parade around the room for everyone. I think this year Santa needs to get word that Marlee would really like some dress up stuff of her own.
Here is a pic before the start of the annual Ingram Turkey Run. All the guys go out and have a race. As usual, Daryl was the winner even after he got a late start.

Check Out Our Little Elf
To get yourself in the holiday spirit go to www.elfyourself.jibjab.com. This is hilarious. I uploaded this pic of Marlee where she had put lipstick on herself.

Thanksgiving at Grammy & Papa Hoot's
After stuffing ourselves with turkery and other goodies at Mimi & Paw Paw's we then moved on to visit with my Mom & Dad (Marlee's Grammy & Papa Hoot). My Mom's side of the family all got together over there. Marlee got to ride on the golf cart with Papa Hoot so she was thrilled.
Tomorrow we will go over to Daryl & Christy's to have a late Thanksgiving get together with the Ingram side of the family. The Iron Bowl will also be on so it should be a good time especially if the Tigers could pull out the major upset. I'm not expecting them to win with the way this season has been but you never know with the Iron Bowl. We have owned the Tide the past 6 years as well as in Tuscaloosa.

Thankgiving at Mimi & Paw Paw's
We hope that everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving yesterday and got to spend some quality time with their families. We started the Thanksgiving Day festivities off at Chris' Mom & Dad's (Mimi & Paw Paw) house. We actually spent the night with them on Wednesday so we could have some extra time to visit.

Early Thanksgiving Lunch
Today, Marlee's school had a Thanksgiving luncheon and the kids got to invite anyone they wanted to come. Marlee's guests were Mommy, Grammy & Mimi. This was such a nice thing the school had set up. Of course Marlee had a meltdown when it was time for us to go and for the kids to back to their room. It has to be confusing for them when their parents show up for something in the middle of the day and then have to leave again. Here are some pictures from the luncheon.

Bark For A Park
On Sunday, we went to a fundraiser event at the future site of Birmingham's first dog park. Marlee had a blast as she is a big fan of doggies. The president and organizer of Bark for a Park is a former co-worker of mine. For all of you in the Birmingham area with furbabies in your home you can get more info. at the website, www.barkforapark.org.
On another note, Marlee is in search of a job as a toddler comedian. I swear the things this child says and does are continously cracking us up. We can act pretty goofy around the house sometimes and so now Chris has introduced our child to wedgies. From the encyclopedia website, Wikipedia, the definition is: A wedgie (also known as a snuggie, grundie, gotch pull, or mervin.) is having one's underwear or other garments "wedged" between the buttocks. Now most people do not want to be on the receiving end of a wedgie. Marlee, on the other hand, actually goes around begging us to give her a one. She was up on the bed with me last night and she backed up right to my face and was telling me to give her a wedgie. I was on the phone with mom and we were both laughing hysterically. So if anyone needs to book a comedian for a b'day party or other event we offer pretty good rates!!

Trick or Treat Give Me Something Good to Eat
Here is my ballerina princess trick or treating last night. She really had it down this year. She would go the door and give them the whole saying "Trick or treat give me something good to eat". Sometimes she would say it after she rang the doorbell before the person even opened the door. I think we went to about 10 houses and then decided to call it a night. There was one house that we had to skip becaue Marlee was scared of the smoke machine they had in their yard. I told her I would go with her but that didn't work. We hope everyone had a Happy Halloween. Now Thanksgiving is right around the corner.

A Beautiful Fall Day
Today is an absolutely perfect day. This morning we attended our church to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Of course there's no better way to start off the day. We then came home and cooked hot dogs and ate them outside since it is so nice. The rest of the afternoon was spent swinging and pumpkin carving. Chris carved the pumpkin we picked out last weekend at the Pumpkin Patch. I think he did a pretty good job. We will light him up when we get home from church this evening. Thank you Lord for this wonderful day to worship you and spend quality time with family.

Cutie Patooties at the Patch!!
Date Night
My Mom & Dad picked up Marlee from daycare yesterday so she could spend the night with them. That meant Chris & I had the night to do whatever we wanted which usually just means staying at home and doing nothing. However, this time I was able to get him off the couch and agree to go see the movie Fireproof. The movie has a great meaning and I recommend it for all married couples. The message of the movie is that if you put Christ first in your life and at the center of your marriage then you can make it through anything.

Weagle Weagle - WDE
Here is a picture I took of Marlee before the game today. This is her new Auburn pillowcase dress that her Grammy bought for her.
Thanks to the AU defense for holding off the Vols and getting the victory for the team. Hopefully next week the offense will finally click and get it together. Now we just have to pull on those Georgia Bulldogs tonight over Bama.

Fun With The Big Girls
Jeff, Tonya, Hanna & Audrey came up to watch the AU/LSU game last night. Marlee was in awe of Hanna and Audrey and had so much fun playing with them. Even though our beloved Tigers lost we still enjoyed having them over to visit. The team will definitely have to practice hard this week and be ready to beat the Vols this next Saturday.

Guess Who's 3?
Yes, our baby girl turned 3 years old today. My how time flies by. It seems like only yesterday that God blessed us with her. She has continusally brought joy to our lives since the day she was born. Of course, that does not mean we don't have our moments because believe me we do. If she does make us mad we are usually laughing hysterically at her the next minute. We love you Marlee Bug!!

3rd Birthday Party Bash
Today is Marlee's actual birthday but we had her party this past Sunday. We had it at the place where she takes gymnastics and I believe all the kids had a great time. I know I had a lot of fun watching them. Thanks to all our family and friends for coming out to help us celebrate. We love you all!!

I'm so ready for this movie to come out!!
Yes, Nights in Rodanthe. I loved, loved, loved the movie The Notebook and this is from the same writer/producer. I'm sure it will be a good tearjerker which will definitely draw me in. I'm going to have to get some girls to go with me to see it because for some reason Chris isn't interested (could it be because it's a major chic flick??). He says he would rather spend nights in Blount County. He's real funny!!

Play Date with Braelyn
Since we were coming back from the beach on Wednesday I had decided that I would take the entire week of Labor Day off work. It would have been hard to go back Thursday after being at the beach. So, Thursday Marlee and I went to meet Kristin and Braelyn in Gardendale to eat lunch at Chick-fil-a and then to go play at the park. It has been such a long time since Marlee and Braelyn have seen each other so they were very excited to get to play.
