Stay Away Gustav!!

We are leaving for Destin tomorrow and hoping that Gustav stays away. Right now they are tracking him more to the west but he is still so far out that you just never know. Please pray we have a safe trip. I'll have pics to post when we return. Hope everyone has a happy & safe Labor Day weekend!!

When I got home last night from Sips n Strokes Chris and Marlee were already asleep and I found these fake teeth on the kitchen table. Well, actually it is a whole set for the family. My life is pretty entertaining living with these two jokesters.

Sips n Strokes

I went back to Sips n Strokes last night for the 2nd time. This time I went with two friends from work, Rebecca F. & Rebecca M. We went for the Aubie/Big Al paintings. Of course, I painted the one and only Aubie. I have him propped up on the mantle in the living room so he can help us root on our Tigers this year. I'm so excited that college football kicks off next weekend. We will be at the beach for the kickoff weekend. Nothing better than the beach and football.

I Love Gymnastics!!

Marlee has really been enjoying her gymnastics class at X-cel Gym. She loves it so much that I've decided to have her 3rd birthday party there next month. It is really a great deal and not nearly as expensive as Pump it Up and Jump Zone. I also decided it would be a good idea to try something indoors this year since the past two birthday parties were at the park. This year we'll be taking a break from being out in the heat. It was still in the mid 90's in mid-Sept. for her 1st & 2nd birthday parties.
I snapped this picture of her tonight during class and I just love the look of enthusiasm on her face. I believe I may have to use this picture on her party invitations.

Dog Sitting

Well, considering it's been a while since I've posted I figured I needed to put something on here. So, here is a picture of Marlee & Murphy (Mom & Dad's dog). They are at the beach so Murphy came to stay with us and play with Noodles. Marlee is thrilled to have him here and wants to always help out with him especially when it is time to take him out on the leash. Maybe she is the next Dog Whisperer.
