This Melts My Heart

This child amazes me with the things she is learning at school and church. The first time I heard her recite this was last night while she was in the bathtub. I was in tears.

Proud Owners

We are now the proud owners of a trampoline and the best part is it was free. The other day our neighbor flagged down Chris after he got in from work to ask him if we wanted it. Her son is about to go off to college and her daughter will be a senior in high school next year so they haven't really used it in a few years.
Needless to say, Marlee is ecstatic. She loves to jump on the small trampoline at gymnastics and now she has a big one of her own. I think Chris is pretty excited too. I will definitely have to take something over as a thank you to our neighbor.

Jump Zone

Today we went to Jump Zone for a very early birthday party. It was Meagan's party today and it started at 9am so I pretty much had to get up like I would on a work day. I had been telling Marlee all week that we had Meagan's party to go to and that it was at Jump Zone. She was definitely ready to bounce and slide since it's been a while since she's been to either Pump it Up or Jump Zone. I think she went down the slide about 50 times. She wanted her Grammy to go down it with her most of the time.
Tomorrow will also be a busy day as I have a wedding tea to go to in Pleasant Grove after church. Then we will head back to church tomorrow night for dinner and the movie Fireproof. We are starting the Fireproof Your Marriage study next weekend and I can't wait. I think this would be great for all couples to help you grow closer spritually in your marriage.

More Covered Bridge Photos

Swann Covered Bridge

Today was such a pretty and warm day so after church we decided to take a little road trip over to Cleveland, AL. We went to check out the Swann Covered Bridge and we were so glad we did. Who would have known that this beautiful spot was not too far from home. I'm sure we will be making more trips in the future. It looks like it would be a good spot for camping. Of course, for me that would only be a one night camping trip.
Here are some pics from our Sunday afternoon outing.
