When the kids don't behave at Christmas gatherings just put them out in the pen with the dogs. This was at my parents house on Saturday for the Ingram Christmas get together. I think everyone in the family that owns a dog brought them and the kids just wanted to play out there with them the whole time. Of course, this is not even all the dogs in the picture. The little ones stayed in the house most of the time.

Our family gift from Santa this year was a Wii and we have really been enjoying it.

Christmas at Gran's

We traveled to Montgomery yesterday for our Christmas gathering at my grandad's house. We had a fun time eating lots of yummy food and visiting with family. One of the pics below is of Marlee holding Baby Matthew. She did so well with him. It was precious to see her interact with the baby. I only hope she is this sweet with her baby sister.

Gingerbread House

Last night we decorated our first ever gingerbread house. It was a family effort as Chris put the icing on the house and Marlee & I put the candies on. Now I'm hoping we can get our Christmas tree tomorrow.

Thanksgiving Trip

For Thanksgiving we traveled to the Mississippi coast to visit with Chris' dad & step-mom (Marlee's Papa & Kaki). We had a good time although we all ended up coming home all stuffy with the crud. Papa had saved up a ton of beads to give to Marlee and below are the pics of her when she had to put them all on. She looks like a gangster with her arms crossed.

Bike Riding With Allie

Yesterday we met the Bauer's at Cahaba Lily Park in Helena so the girls could play. They also brought their bikes and had a blast riding around the park together.

Ball Player in Training

Marlee is Papa Hoot's little ball player in training. He's even made Marlee her own ball bag. He really needs a grandson. We'll see if that's what we find out we're having tomorrow.

Marlee & Murph

Last weekend since Papa Hoot was out of town for softball Grammy & Murphy came to spend the night with us. This is a pic of Marlee snacking on some chips while watching the AU/GA game. Murphy was right there beside her watching every chip as it made its way to her mouth.

Festival Fun

Since our church festival was cancelled for Halloween due to the unpredictable weather forcast, we decided to head to Gardendale First Baptist for the one they have. We went to the same one 2 years ago and it is really a lot of fun for the kids. Marlee's friend Braelyn came as well and the girls had a blast riding the rides and playing games for candy. Marlee also saw her BFF from school, Sara Grace.

My Little Lady Bug

This year Marlee was a ladybug for Halloween. I guess it fits perfectly since we call her Marlee Bug. This pic was taken at school on Friday since they got to dress up for their Halloween party.

Marlee's New Shirt

That's right....Marlee will be a big sister come next April. We are all super excited. I am officially 15 weeks as of today and my due date is 4/10/10. I was blessed to have a super easy pregnancy with Marlee and so far things seem the same this time. Please keep us in your prayers for a safe and healthy pregnancy.

Pumpkin Patch 2009

Today we went to the Great Pumpkin Patch in Hayden. This was by far our quickest trip to a pumpkin patch as we only stayed for an hour at the most. It was so cold and the line to ride the wagon to the pumpkin patch was too long that we cheated and bought a pumpkin on the way home at a produce stand.

Marlee's 4th Birthday Party

Yesterday we had Marlee's 4th birthday party at the SplashPad in Gardendale. I was really worried about how the weather was going to hold up because it seems like it has been raining here for 2 weeks straight. It was still raining when we went to church yesterday morning but when we came out of service the sun was trying to peek out. A couple of little showers popped up during the party but all in all it went over pretty well since we had a pavillion to get under. Thanks so all our friends and family who came out to celebrate our girls big day. She really enjoyed playing with all her friends.

More Beach Photos

Better Late Than Never

Well, I am finally posting pictures from our beach trip a month ago. We took a family trip with my parents to Panama City Beach. Some other family members from my Dad's side were also able to make the trip so it was a good time to visit with everyone. Marlee also played her first game of putt putt on this trip. She got a hole in one on about the fourth hole. Other than that she was hitting the ball all over the place and then would usually wind up picking it up and dropping it in the hole.

Dinner at Stix

Last Saturday night Chris, Marlee & I met up with a couple of my friends from work and their spouses for dinner at Stix. This was Marlee's first time to eat at a restuarant where they cook in front of you. She was totally into watching the fire and smoke as I thought she would be.

It's so hard to believe my girl will be turning 4 years old in a couple of months. It's been a while since I've looked back at her baby picures. I came across some on my computer the other day at work and it made me tear up. I love this girl so much.
