In the Dog House

Unfortunately, Marlee is in the dog house a lot these days with Mommy & Daddy. She is constantly resisting what we ask or tell her to do. I guess it is what every parent of a toddler goes through. Although, she's in the dog house a lot she can weasel her way out pretty quickly by turning on her charm.

Working Hard at McWane

McWane Center Birthday Bash

Last Saturday, we went to the 10 year birthday bash at the McWane Center. We met up with the Bauer's, Watson's & Moore's. Marlee was glad to see all the other kiddos (Allie, Ansley, Ace, Madi, Molli & Kam). I didn't get any pics of the kids playing together because they all scattered and went their own ways. It was a wild and crazy day as I heard there were more than 7,000 people that attended.

Chris let Marlee bury him in the sand on our last day at the beach so of course she had to be buried in the sand as well. She is definitely a Daddy's Girl these days.

The Track

After dinner one night we took the girls to The Track and they got to ride the rides in the Kiddie Kountry area. I think this was what they enjoyed the most about the whole trip. They loved the swings.
Bill & I also got to ride the go carts so I was happy as well. No trip to the beach is complete without riding go carts.

This little guy was in the lake right below the balcony of our condo. I'm sure his momma was somewhere close by but we never saw her.

Beach Trip

Last Sunday we returned from a much needed beach trip to Orange Beach. We went along with the Bauer family (Bill, Jennifer, & Allie). Allie and Marlee are so close in age and play really good together so needless to say they had a blast. The Bauer's had to leave a day early and Marlee hated to see Allie go. She kept asking for a good while that day where Allie was.
We will be going back to Destin Labor Day weekend with my Mom & Dad and we can't wait. It can't get here soon enough.
