Sock Hop

Marlee spotted me and Chris as soon as her class walked into the gym. So, needless to say she wanted to be with us instead of up on the stage performing with her class. She danced up there briefly a couple of times as long as I stood beside the stage. I had a feeling beforehand that this would happen if she saw us there.

Ready for the Sock Hop

Marlee's daycare had a sock hop this afternoon. Here she is in her 50's attire practicing her moves before we left this morning.

My Sweet Little Angel

Just look at this sweet little girl. Who would think that she would have four behavior reports in one week at daycare? These were not good behavior reports either they were all for biting. On Tuesday I had to sign one when I picked her up. She must have been on a tear on Wednesday because I had to sign three all for that one day. I was totally embarrassed. At least the teacher told me some good news. She said that Marlee was actually not the one in the class who bit the most. That was a shocker considering I had just signed 3 reports for one day. The other kid must be a habitual biter biting on a daily basis.

Play Date with Anna

This past Monday I was off work for President's Day so we went to meet Melissa & Anna so the girls could play. We took them to McDonalds first for lunch and then to the childrens area of the bookstore. They had a Thomas table there so Marlee was definitely happy. A Late Valentine's Present

Grammy & Papa Hoot came up last night to bring Marlee her Valentine's gift. We were supposed to meet them for dinner last Wednesday night but since Marlee had a little stomach bug we weren't able to. Marlee loves the Thomas puzzle they gave her and I'm sure she'll want to work it all the time. We will probably have to hide it sometimes. She is really into Thomas the Train these days. I think we are going to take her to A Day Out With Thomas when it comes to the Calera Railroad Depot at the end of March.

Back In Action!!

Grammy and Papa Hoot gave Marlee her barbie mo-mo back in September for her birthday and she's been scared to ride it. Well yesterday I asked her if she wanted to ride it and to my surprise she said yes. So I guess the fear is gone, at least for now.
